imo, since your going to be spraying up to and maybe over 100 shot, i would stick with std bore that way you dont have to worry bout changing to gen1 block. of course the valves and springs will have to be upgraded. after good valves, springs, pistons, and maybe rods for insurance you can spray...

I had a GSXR 1000 that had a violent constant engage and disengagement while trying to launch the bike, while inspecting outer clutch basket found to have grooves made from the fiber clutches. Replaced with billet basket and problem solved.... also have seen the hot spots on the steels cause...

oh and, my busa was 104/106 stock. so imo on the limited stuff you wanting to do to engine i would probably go with a 107/106 (leaving your exhaust alone). but truth be told instead of wasting money on degree'able sprockets for only moving the intake cam, I would just spend a little more money...
