Good process of elimination! Keep us posted. I've had an issue where after riding along time, I would stop to get gas and bike would not start. Almost like moto siezed. Wait a minute or two and it would start with no problem. Hasn't happened in a while so I don't have an answer to the reason.
It does look good but does not fit my taste either. I guess I don't notice it as much since I have the charcol bike...it all blends together.
I use the Pilot Power 2ct's. New Rear tire yesterday $237 installed. I think I paid around $160 when I did the front tire but its been over a year and I could be wrong.
I had this same issue when I switched to Synthetic Oil (Elf). Dealer check clutch and everything is okay. Also I want to mention there is a clicking when the bike is cold but that is just the idle control. It stops once the bike is warmed up.
I have the 2CT's and love them. Went through the stock tire in 2K, have another 2500 on the 2CT and think I can go another 2K. Front tire hardly shows any wear (also a 2CT)
I also have the R-77 CF Slip On's. Installed them yesterday. When in the garage they rattle the dishes in the kitchen cabinets. That's plenty loud for me. When I put the baffles in they deffinately tame the sound when at idle or low RPM.
