Finally purchased my first Busa :)

@Cruising180 Appreciate the insight and that makes a lot of sense as far as the advantages that can be had vs just the notion of more power, will give this some more thought after I get through the brake in for sure.

Finally purchased my first Busa :)

@ Cruising180 Though I love the idea of extrapolating even more power from this machine I also except I’ll never realize it’s full potential even in stock form so am currently of the mind set of leaving things such as ECU Flash etc in stock trim. Further more just because I purchased it new and...

Finally purchased my first Busa :)

Had a chance to put a few miles on it today (roughly 60 miles) & was thoroughly impressed. I am choosing to follow the break in procedure as per the manual so can only imagine how this bike feels at WOT. Given how long ago it’s been since I have ridden & more so the advancements in motorcycle...

    insurance.........

Well here is the deal. If this is your first bike which it appears it is, regardless of the bike you are almost 100% going damage it in some way. It could be a crash or just dropping it which is costly as fairings are not cheap at all. Furthermore your talking about a Busa so chances are even...

    Hello Everyone :)

Ye I was thinking exactly that, get a crappy low cost car i.e. a couple $100, insure it with SF then insure the bike as I am sure a crappy car including its insurance would be under $1000 so I could still save a potential $2000 over progressives quote providing I can get coverage for around...

    Hello Everyone :)

S.H.I.T just spoke to a state farm agent and they only insure bikes if u have either home or auto insurance with them. Will keep trying around and will keep u al updated at the moment best is progressive - liability and comprehensive for $4200. MarK.

    TRE Question?

Ok the TRE is a timing retard eliminator, right? It gives u full power in the first 3 gears that Suzuki restricted + takes the limiter off for top end right? Does it just alter paramaters i.e. torque avail in gears 1-3 or is it like a custom map or are these basically the same things - on a...

    Is this a possibility?

Cool thanks man I think your probably right in regards to the swapping of the body panels. The 2004's are deffo exactly the same as the 03's right in relation to "body parts"? Also how much would a full set cost me roughly, painted from Suzuki in either siler/gray, or black/silver? Thanks again...
