Got the battery new last year around this time of year from ballistic performance but I have been havin idle issues. Some times it's a little over 1000 rpm the all of a sudden it's below 1000. Will check everything this weekend wanted to check my valves anyway.

but for the record i work on cars, use to be a manager at midas automotive. but after breaking down this engine i though to myself there not much to this thing. i would have put new bearings in and ran it but the crank looks to bad

yeap that was the case exactly blk02ws6, shift forks where not bent thou. bearing spun from excessive friction material in the oil pick up thou. but while breaking it down i found something else, the lower casing was cracked. i just decided to get another motor and use the old one for parts...

has anyone attempted to put a gen II engine on there gen 1 bike yet. If so what was involved, just found one at a good deal and i need a new engine. Is it possible to run the gen 2 engine with the gen 1 ecu, harness and throttle bodies.

Got the clutches feeling great so i think. Didn't get enough ride time in before i started hearing a knocking sound and the oil light coming on. Can't win for losing this month, guess i'll pull the engine off tonight and pop it open. :banghead:

Definatly has motorcycle oil I will check the stack height tomorrow and keep u guys posted

oem parts only, only thing aftermarket is the clutch mod and cushion and i'm about to go back to the stock cushion kit

sorry to hear that man but the likely hood of getting it back after this long is not to good. probably been taken apart by now and sole for parts, or someone had changed the vin number on it and is using a different title. in the few cases i have seen people get there bikes back it usually...

Ive been 178 mph on my 99 busa it didn't really bother me going that fast. But i really didn't like the feel of the brakes when i tried to slow her down, i noticed i was running out of road quick. I've seen 150 mph more times then I should have. Road my bike to Myrtle beach bike week this year...
