    What connectors are these?

Hi all I’m slowly tearing into my gen 1 - the previous owner had it setup for touring and wired in a bunch of accessories that I want removed. (Heated seat, tour pack lighting, led lights, spotlights, heated grips, etc) I found a bunch of wires and connectors bundled together and I know one is...

    Road trip

I did a run from Toronto to south dakota (not on busa - used my stratoliner), and it was deadly boring from Minneapolis to rapid city. But if you're ok with just putting on miles, its a good long run and a very pretty destination. I did the run from Toronto to the dragon a couple times (not on...

It really is nice to have the centre stand - but again - unbecoming for a busa i think. Thanks for the warm re-welcome..

    Back again for more

Extended swingarm is waiting to be powdercoated along with the rims. Have to remove all the touring baggage and parts (grips, helibars, spotlights, heated seat, extra tail lights). Also previous owner installed a center stand. its kinda neat to be honest, but i just dont think it belongs on a...

    Insurance in Ontario?

The personal is a group insurance company - they only insure you if you're part of specific organizations. I'm not part of any company they deal with. :( Desjardins is their personal individual side... they don't insure supersports.

    Been gone a long time

glad to hear you're back on, mentally speaking. Sorry to hear about the series of events that impacted your life, but here's to getting back on (metaphorically) and moving forward. Been gone awhile myself, and i recognize a few names that are still around...

    Back again for more

HI All, Old member here back from quite some time ago. Had an 06 initially back 11 years ago or so. Had an 04 a couple years later after selling the 06. Now am back on an 07 - needs a little work but will go through that slowly over winter. Could never quite shake the busa thing.

Went down for the first time today..

Always feels terrible - nothing serious by the sounds of it, but when it happens, the world crumbles. Check to see if any jarring action might have caused some damage (chiro/dr)... oh and is it too early to say your thread title makes me want to say, "That's what he said."? :) Best of luck...

    Nasty....

Emails like that have been floating around for years. Non riders feel the need to send them to bikers to ensure they know the dangers of riding.... ...some really don't...some don't care...but most do.

Oddities - need some generation info

I think i got a frankenstein type of busa - it's an 04 but i think it's been rebuilt. No worries really on my end but a few things are standing out to me... The 'pass' switch on the indicator side...i don't have it - i thought all busa's had... There's a wire running down and attached to...

Loud Banging Sound During Engine Start

rod may have broken? so it's just throwing the piston up and it's falling, no compression to keep engine running. Might have seized over the months (though unlikely i think)... was there oil in the engine? Sounds like it ran fine up until you finally parked. So the run may have damaged if...

    Electrical problem please help........

wait, you blew a coolant line at the same time? I'd say fuses or even the battery connection (your led's may not be making poor contact). But there's two issues in play here dude....update? Edit: when you say all power went out, do you mean the dash lights? or the motor switched...
