I know what you mean. I got Helibars for my '02 to get rid of the numb palm syndrome. Rode it like that for a couple of years. After a boo-boo that broke one off, I didn't want to spend the money to replace for the reasons you mentioned. Strange thing is, I didn't get the numb palms again...

Someone forgot to "tweak" the graph before they sent out the picture. The numbers claim 8 more HP, but the graph doesn't reflect this.

Glad I got the '08 blk/blue. I liked the yellow the best of the new ones. Not sure how they make the decisions as to what colors to offer what markets. I can see sending certain models to certain markets, but colors?

I've heard a people complain about the stock tires, but not sure why. I liked them. Had wear comparable with other tires (3700 miles on the rear) and never had them step out even dragging the feelers. I ran the AV's on my '02. Never had issues with grip and got good milage (5000 or so)...
