hey fellas, i will be attending again this year. i may even stay a night this time around, it sucked riding up that morning and back late that night. had a blast last time. a busa blast bash! LOL
my dealer got the blue 08 and they drug me back to the shop as they were assembling.... i'm sitting here trying to talk myself out of taking my 05 gsxr600 up there to seee what they'd give me for trade-in. looks a lot better in person than in pix...augh! don't and won't pay sticker for a cash...
where's the arkansans? if'n i could get someone to ride with i'm pretty sure ill roll up...don't like riding that far by myself... probably stay in hotel also.... who knows? the busa sleeps in the living room, so she may not like to stay outdoors(hotel needs ramp for doorway, hint hint)
that's the exact size i've been having problems with. i rode with them yesterday on 3rd set and so far they've stayed in. i've decided if these pop out i'm gonna try the light thing as above.... just terrified of getting my hand stuck in there on the middle ones! haha
that's a good picture, i like that...but....how the heck do you get your hands in there between the undertail and trunk to get the washer's started on the middle ones? i know the 2 closest to the seat would be easy, but the other 4.....
thanks! i put the bigger ones in for now, i'm afraid to use the bolts & washers due to cracking the 'glass. i may try the christmas tree ones if they keep popping out... it's funny the oem ones by the tailight stay in, but the middle ones and ones by the rear sets pop out!
yeah i went to the next big size and they kept spitting out.... i guess i'll go get even bigger ones....i hate to keep buying more and more of them unless there's an easier trick that someone knows of.... thanks, though! i'll go to the parts store in a minute and see if the bigger 'uns work!!!
i recently installed a undertail and i have repeatedly keep having to replace the pushpins that keep popping out... does anyone know of a solution to this and have incurred this problem with theirs?
i like it. i also used to hate the design of the busa, reminded me of a hippo on steroids... but i love the design now... i keep looking at my 600 contemplating on selling it and getting the new busa just because... i'd have 2 of the best suzuki has ever made. just think...it coulda been worse...
