that r1 is sweet!! i've got to give credit to yamaha, thats one nice looking bike..........what the hell ,for that price it should come with powercommander, full exhaust of choice, irridium plugs and performance air filter.....also ohlins steering dampener.

i own a busa my self but stock to stock unrestricted (05 bus v.s. 05 1k), how do you know for sure???

acceleration on the 05 1k is absolutely remarkable....i'm just real curious what it will do full out with no limiter........

anyone know the answer to this? just curious if its as fast as the busa..........i rode one last night and i have to say its crazy quick,dead on crisp fuel injection and ultra light.....WOW!!!!! but i would still rather have my busa.........

i've been a sportbike rider for 15 years,my last bike was an 01 gsxr 1000 with 155 rwhp.but sold it because milage was getting high and needed all maint. stuff. clutch,chain,sprockets,tires,brakes. had 20 k miles.. it was black and silver.  i was n't going to consider the bus until i saw this 03...

if i can gain 10-15 hp with full system than how much with slip-ons? and with slip-ons do i need a pc3?
