Hi Guys,
I have a Ventura Luggage/Bag System available for the sport touring guy out there. Made for the 2008-2011 Busa, includes the 51 liter size Areo-Spada bag, with Storm cover. Lite scuffing on right side.
New about $450, make offer please.
Thanks for looking.
Since I hurt my shoulder, I found that my forward handle stand takes a good force to use. I now run the rear tire up on a 2x6 plank, laying flat, to lift the bike some. It takes a lot less effort to get the bike up on the stand this way.
Things I miss with previously owning a 08 ZX14 for two years.
Projector head lights W/HID upgrade
BRAKES
Smoother engine
Stronger trans
Higher comfort level
Ease of doing oil changes.
Ease of getting the plastics off.
Things I like about my new Gen II
More low power response
Smother shifting...
Ram mounts is your way to go with almost any unit. They make so many holders for so many brands of GPS, Radars', IPods', and so on. Plus, you have so many options as to where to mount on the bike. Most riders like the stem mounts, and you have the options of different shaft lengths, so that you...
Just a observation on the Yosh TSR's I have. Near stock sound with the silencers inserts installed. Pull them out, they are advertised to be just 2 db louder, which is fine by me. I don't need to be loud, but has a very good bass note to them that I like.
Build quallity are very good, IMO.
Strange, Does the bolt have a deep shoulder under the head, like 1/8 in.?
Put heli bars on and found a small steel washer on the driveway when I moved the bike away.
Gen 2 has so much lower gearing than my RIP 2008 ZX14, my riding bud would regularly beat me on sub 100 mph roll on's.
The difference in the rpm in top gear is about 500 more than the 14.
He also gets great gas mileage like in the 50's most all the time. I could never get past the low 40's.
Just read the owners manual (Gen 2) and as noted above, this topic is explained, and to just open the throttle 1/8 turn, for a warm engine hard start condition.
Here's a guess, Coolant temp or air temp sensor issue, if used, could be sending a signal of a very hot engine and restarts with a lean condition. It certainly could cause hot restart issues.
Kevlars are much more flexible and make it easier to route than steel.
Kevlars are also much lighter, but when I installed mind, it didn't feel like the brake action was any stronger with them.
That's were I think the steels are better for a strong and harder feel. I guess the Kevlars flex a...
