So my engine was getting fuel starved and losing power from 6k rpm and up but there was also a foreign "griding feeling in the pegs from the engine. I replaced the pump and filter and that seemed to resolve the issue with the fuel starvation a week later I seem to be having the issue again but...

OK, update: I replaced the pump with oem knockoff. that thing sounded like sh*t too. but when I would hit the power band I would get no power. I installed an All Balls pump last night and now I have a healthy sounding pump but no ignition. The engine is just turning over. So my question is...

Are you sure you aren't cross-threading? pretty easy to accidentally do with a hose that pushes ever so slightly on the filter behind the Rad.

so here is my issue, I have noticed that the short "whine sound" prior to ignition when the engine is resetting; the pitch of that tone is slightly off. Power seems to plateau and not pull as hard after hitting 150mph. 3rd/4th gears I feel a slight "grind" for lack of better term around 4k...

Ladybird exhausts have their pipe fitment noted on the ebay sales for them, I know they work with HRC a lot (GP production) I don't know how loud they are tho, I don't want to upset the neighbors at rolling home in the middle of the night ... or do I? haha
