If the tach is a 8cylinder tach it should be set to half pulse. How high is the engine actualy idling at? A timing light or rpm light should be able to tell you this. If I were to hold my throttle at 3/4 it would rev to around 10000rpm. Most tach will take a single fire signal then times it by...

I was thinking that also, how much fuel should i add and what rpms tp. has anyone installed the nozzles at the bottom of the box where the vacuum valve used to be. these nozzles dont shoot sideways like a fogger they shoot straight out.
