Yes, I removed it completely. I'm gonna send it in for replacement. I think it should be under warranty.

    HID Light Problem

Hey thebbbusa As a matter of fact I just fixed my problem Friday. It turned out to be my DEI delay timer.  It works like a champ now, I rode about 200mi this past weekend and had no issues with my gauges at all.

If you have two ballast swope the wiring between the two and see if the problem follows. If you just have one it may be the ballast? Hope this helps.

    BUSA OVERHEATING

Sorry for a late post. I'm not convinced that my problems are solved just yet. What I mean by that is, When I was living in central TX I rode in mid 90-100 degree temp all the time and my bike barely creeped past the mid way mark. And during normal riding would stay below the half mark. I had...

HAS ANYONE SOLVED PROBLEM WITH HID & INSTRUMENT CL

Learjett I have my ballast separated. Low beam on Left ram intake and high beam on RT ram intake. What I have noticed so far in my attempt to find the problem is that a good charged battery helps. I went as far as purchase a battery tender an use it when I'm not riding. But I still get the...

    sprocket

I'm running a 16/43 and I went out riding with friends and "man" what a difference it made. I was riding against an 02 suzuki 1k and a honda 929. I could pull away with easy against the 1k. The 1k has a few mods and is track ready, so it wasn't stock. I enjoyed it.

HAS ANYONE SOLVED PROBLEM WITH HID & INSTRUMENT CL

Heavybusa I would appreciate that, maybe we can find the common cause. I did the "CHARGING OUTPUT INSP" according to the SVC Manual, It say to rev bike to 5K TURN LIGHT ON and DIMMER SWITCH to high? I disregarded that info and just let the bike run at idle and did my voltage check. I could...

    SD HID light issues

ICEMAN Can U provide more detail about the ground you added? Like exactly where did U mount it? Also I just replaced my battery with another 12v batt. What do you mean when you said, replace batt with 14s? Your not referring to the Voltage R U?

HAS ANYONE SOLVED PROBLEM WITH HID & INSTRUMENT CL

That's something to consider. I have a time delay relay wired to mine. The white wire is (+) AND BLK /WHTwire is (-). Is this correct?

HAS ANYONE SOLVED PROBLEM WITH HID & INSTRUMENT CL

MC Mustang the only thing I have connected to my battery is my "I think is my pwr commander". I just went out and tested the charging output with engine running at 5K and I was getting between 14-15v. I also did a current leak check on the battery as per 1999-2000 svc manual. No leaks at all...
