it wasn’t fun not knowing what happened, at least now I’m ok with it and can hardly see the scratches. Something to work on during the winter I guess.
@Red05 that makes sense, I just would have known right away, but it wouldn’t have changed the outcome.
99% solved (I think)
I remotely checked the cameras at work, and while I can’t actually see me do it (no cameras) I can see that there is a stone wall that goes up to about 2 1/2 to 3 ft, then it cuts in a few inches and that’s where the window starts. I wondered if I did this, how didn’t I hit...
It wasn’t Steve for sure, I have a pic somewhere that shows the straps are nowhere near it. I’ll text you the pic later.
I never thought someone would swap out a fairing lol, figured it would just get stolen.
the only place I really “park it” for any length of time is in the underground, but I did go into work to pick up a laptop and parked on the sidewalk next to the building. It was a weird spot and the left side was near the stone exterior wall because turning around wasn’t an option, and I know I...
I fully get what you’re saying, and seeing. I’ll take some pics of the rest of the same side today, then maybe it’ll make sense how stubborn I am :poke:
I park in a condo underground parking, since I can’t find a single scratch anywhere else I sort of ruled that out. I figured I would see some other evidence? I don’t doubt it could happen, I just can’t find anything to go with it.
I’ll get it fixed for sure, will see if I have the patience and wait till winter or not. If there was a single scratch anywhere else I would think it was laid down, but nothing. Might be something I’ll never figure out. New slip-ons, new spools, new K&N and some new scratches haha
When I bought it, it was transported in a closed van. I do use a cover when it’s parked in the underground and I sometimes pull it off rather quickly, but nothing that could cause this. It’s been out for one ride in the last 2 weeks, and since I washed it.
