no i cant get the bike to run at all right now, it wants to idle but it wont. the idle is set right and i checked all the plugs again and there all right, im thinking im gonna need to take the pump apart again and double check everything, also thinking maybe buying a filter and just replacing...

ive went through all of the lines i cant find anything missing, also i took off the airbox and took out the spark plugs cause i was thinking this was the problem, so i took the plugs out cleaned them up(there fairly new about a month old), is it alright to have an inline filter before the pump??

i have a 2000 busa and i took apart the fuel pump assembly and removed the screens and filter, thinking i could put an inline filter before the pump assembly and that it shouldnt change much. so i did this and put it all back together tryd to start it and it wont start, it cranks like crazy...

the mod i found said to take the filter and screens out of the pump and too put an inline filter between the tank and the pump? can you do this ?and in this placement would it have to be high pressure?

i have a 2000 and i took the pump apart and removed the screens following a mod off of the forums. this is supposed to stop the clogging. I was planning on putting an in-line filter after the tank before the pump, do i need to replace the filter inside the pump or can u run it wihtout the paper...

wow that link u put up there is exactly what i needed. he describes my problem exactly. now i just need to figure out exactly how to do this. alittle past my skill level i think. But im gonna have to give that a shot because sounds like its the fix for my problem. thanks for all the help.

i havent checked the fuel filter. the filter is right at the bottom of the tank right? could that be the problem? the plugs werent wet, there were dry but black.
