busa after taking a break from riding?

You forgot step #1 is actually, get wife to sign off. while she hasn't said no to the purchase of a new motorcycle, and by all accounts she appears to be relenting.

busa after taking a break from riding?

haha - thank you The biggest con of course is the wife... As to the picture, i will never forget the first time I laid a puck of my leathers on the ground on the SV and scraped around the last turn at Putnam Raceway. I finished the next lap and stopped the session early as a result.

busa after taking a break from riding?

If somebody were to play devil's advocate (and so that I can see the other side of the coin) Why NOT get the busa? Insurance weight power delivery theft risk what am I not thinking about?

busa after taking a break from riding?

I have ridden a hayabusa and found it to be a very smooth motorcycle. however, returning to riding after taking some time off, i am a little nervous of the power of a hayabusa. I remember it being a very smooth motorcycle and while it has an abundance of power, it is very linear in its...

busa after taking a break from riding?

I want to get back into motorcycling after a short absence. I have been away from motorcycles for about 2 years, having about 4~5 years experience previously. I rode a SV650 and put well over 15k miles on it in the 4 years that I had it (along with some track days as well) I was very...

    Suzuki credit and my dealer

one thing you have to remember about suzuki credit is that it's not an installment loan, its an unsecured debt... (aka, Credit card) unlike a installement loan (mortgage, car payment) that they can take something away if you don't pay it... Suzuki gives you the bike and then gives you the title...

    Does anybody need this?

no, i used to smoke... i quit last year... I kind of equated the 'busa and riding it to smoking, or any other addiction for that matter. its something that at first you don't like it but with time, you can't see yourself away from it... every time I see a friend light a cigarette in front...

    Does anybody need this?

okay, I started this thread yesterday... It was after my first ride over 10 miles on the almighty busa, third ride altogether. Yesterday after work I rode the bike around some more and then again last night I rode the bike to our local bike night (only about a 7 mile ride each way). I came up...

    'busa as st bike

i have several 400 mile days on an SV (not comfortable, no wind protection, light weight, gets blown around, ALOT) and that doesn't mean I would put the SV in a catagory anywhere NEAR the FJR... I am curious to know how far off the 'busa is from an FJR, especially one that is setup to tour...

    'busa as st bike

this was never in question... the question was... while 200 miles on a busa is a good day, and 400 miles would be a good day on an FJR. Is it possible to make the busa do a 400 mile day comfortably? or more importantly, how close can you get a busa? How comfortable is a tobin seated heli barred...
