a little bit more info, i am running stock injectors and stock compression for now. all i am trying to do at the moment is recreate an old kit (mr turbo stage 1 kit) and ditch the weak links in the kit (fmu, wastegate, fuel pump and scav pump) so i just need a good baseline map to get teh engine...

i was thinking i would do that, however, that is a lot of typing i don't know how well other maps will work considering the mr turbo system using an old rajay spools a lot slower so boost may be a bit lower in some areas. that and the rate of fuel pressure rise may also be different...

i need a map for a mr turbo kit running 6 or 7 psi. rajay 301ff40 and a pc3 usb (this is the catch, i have maps for the pc2 for when the kit was originally made in 2000) does anyone have a good baseline map they can help me with? i will ship you a 12 pack of yoru favorite beer in return ;)

if you take the insert out of the hks, the screaming eagle sound is taken out of the sound (that high pitch split second sharp whistle) then it sound much like any other valve. i personally like the turbo xs rfl. its an attention getter *lol* although it is a bit slow to react at times.

the hks valve reacts faster than most other valves due to its 2 stage design. it has a pretty neat sound that can be changed with different inserts. i have seen the hks valves mounted under the tank. it is about the size of the turbo xs rfl and that seems to fit under the tank of mine in mock...

thanks for the info guys. please excuse me as my drag racing days are pretty prehistoric. any tuning we did in the day involved a box of jets and the ass dyno all this electronic stuff rocks but i am a bit out of touch with what is hot these days.

which a/f monitor do you prefer? can anyone comment on the pros and cons of each unit? are there any other a/f monitors that i should also consider?
