my starter will make a sound that sounds like gears hitting each other and sometimes it will just engage and turn the engine over. do u think this might be the starter clutch

no its started getting hard to start and its it getting worse today when was trying to get it to start i got the code. i can start it ok when its cold be after it gets hot it might not start at all

ive tried a new sensor

it will back fire every once and awhile to

it has slowly gottin worse and worse

my battery doesnt have any problems turning the engine over.

ive never synced the tb's. how do u do it

the starter doesnt have any problems turning the engine over. it just doesnt want to start. i charged the battery and that seemed to help the problem but it still has the same characteristics. im gonna try new plugs today

ive got an 2002 busa that is a little hard to start when cold but the hotter the engine gets the harder it gets to start. thanks for any help u can give
