ive had CF cans on my 900rr since 96. 60k on the clock and no burn, no fade...just some minor scratches that could be buffed out if i so wished.

They absolutely can!!! Because the US Govt says the any production bike brought into the US must be governed at 185mph or lower. The Busa made that rule necessary in 99/00, so they title will ALWAYS be theirs in the US. always.

yep, i used an 03 gsxr1000 fan with a muzzy blade. u have to trim the shield a tad, but its no biggie.

i had a front exitying dump on my stg1 busa and never liked it. its loud and reverbs off the road. nobody will ever want to ride next to you. it also leaves your shoe and pant leg reeeking like fuel, even on a properly tuned bike. not to mention you have to butcher your plastics. a rear...

the bore increase will net you the torque you want, but will double your chances of having problems.

thanks for the props, K! here is how i set mine up...i went a bit overboard. i replaced the inlet and outlet of the radiator with -16AN bungs, relocated the temp switch and welded and smoothed the old temp sensor hole, moved a few tabs around to mount a 1k fan on the right side, bead blasted...
