There is a very nice article about the 2008 Busa in the August issue of Motorcyclist.  It gives a lot of insight about how the R&D team went about designing the "new busa".  I also get the feeling the new emission standards "really" eat up power and add unwanted weight.  A new pipe, tune, etc...
