Very good advice. There are a couple of local "clubs" in my area that are sportbike focused, and both have "offical" sanction from the one club that it pays not to offend.

The Galfer Rotors and pads came via UPS today, the frame sliders via USPS, the CRG levers landed yesterday, the TRE (thanks Kento, I've already read up here and the TRE may stay in the shipping box...) arrived Monday. Just waiting on the Galfer brake & cluth lines and th Yoshi slip ons...

Just finished adjusting throttle cable free-play - problem solved.

Thanks guys, I thought that might be it, but since I've only owned the bike since Friday, i wanted some other owners ideas. Should have been clear, bike is an '03 with 6500 miles when I purchased.

Interesting thing I've got going with the new 'Busa. At full lock either way, no hand on throttle, it goes WOT - no interference from the screen, or anything obvious. Is this a common 'Busa event, or do I have a problem? Thanks - Bill
