Thankyou for your reply turbojonn... will check out a few more things too..
Johnnycheese, i'm not real sure on what your saying... can you re-say that again.. sorry, i'm not the most mechanically minded person here.. lol
Thanks people.
my intake pipes (from turbo to plentum chamber) and my exhaust pipe (turbo outlet to muffle) is ceramic coated... they did it so it help keep the heat down... expensive to get done... well in australia it is..
Well, i've been away for a while.. while i was off, i got the busa frame/swingarm sprayed satin black with a slight amount of silver peck in it... heres some pics.. what do you think??
heya all... old topic i know.... but..
i finally replaced the plugs... it made the bike idle great, better than ever, but it still is puffing huge amounts of burnt fuel outta the pipe... so, i'm gunna look at the map...
I'm thinking the power commander got bumped a few times and put the...
i'm useing standard plugs and injectors (bike has 2000kms on it)
I am useing a power commander 111r
I willl replace plugs 1st and if still running super duper rich, i'll check out the map too.

hey mate, feel for ya, mine motor blew within the first 200kms of my turbo kit been installed... melted the pistons... ran lean.
It sucks, but thats what ya gotta expect with turbo's the are so tempermental.
We did some nice twisty riding in the hills and then were crusieing around town when all of a sudden my bike had troubles riding under normal throttle use..stalling while riding.. it just stalled everytime i started it back up.
I adjusted the idle screw and it started idleing again, but running...
Welcome to the turbo busa club mate... boosted busa's are way sweet.. I'm running just above 250hp and thats more than enough...
Also, nothing better than letting ya blow off valve go pssssssh next to some turbo ricer car...
I am running a turbo set up, and occasionally i have fuel bubbleing outta my fuel cap on the tank.. but today it poured out the top and lots of it just after starting it up..
It happens just after starting the bike up and in the 1st 10mins of riding...?
I can only imagine it's a pressure build...
True Uncle Bob, but i heard people say that you have to choose the right oil for the turbo's due to the extreme heat and that chooseing the wrong oil will burn quicker and not handle the heat as well...
Just throwing that up in the air... what are peeps comments to that?
