It's ok i sorted it I stripped the other fork to make sure and for anyone else with the same question, the rounded edge of the washer sits against the fork tube stopper so the flat edge faces out of the tube. Thanks Andy

Thanks for the tips guys - Another question is which way round does the fork seal washer go? It has a rounded edge on one side and flat on the other (I should have taken note on dismantling oops) Does the flat edge go in the fork tube so it sits completely flat on the stop? Thanks Andy

Hi All............ Is it possible to spray paint the inners (not the disc itself)? and if so would the paint have to be heat resistant? Any advice of where i can get the spray (black)? Thanks in advance Andy
