I just bought the bike and last night when riding gas just sprayed me with n the face and was all over my tank I cut the bike off right away. it wouldn’t crank back up at first and after waiting a minute it crunk back up but it kept happening a few more times on the ride home anyone know what’s causing it

Welcome.
A) If it's spraying fuel, shut it off and don't try to restart it until you figure out what's going on. Fuel will ignite, and when that happens outside the motor, it's not gonna end well.

The vent tube is likely clogged.
