Hey Puggle, just wondering since I'm not as up on the tech side anymore, but is there an adapter RSD could buy that would plug his hard drive into a USB to become a removeable storage device? That would be excellent if there is because it couldn't be more than $30 if such item exists!

Definitely. Cheap ones are cheaper than that. This one here I found quickly is a little fancy but it's only 40USD roughly.

RSD - try the link Puggle gave and see if a local Best Buy has one of these, it would have you done in a matter of minutes and you could pride yourself in doing the work yourself!

I have to confess... I just dropped it off with some geeks,they said fiddy to a hundred bucks to save all the data and make her sweet again.
If I tried to do it myself...it almost surely would have driven me to drink.
