released on the grounds they were not "mirandized" and then released on American soil (their native homes have already denied their returns)...

Then they can thin out the population (or aid in it) here and open up some jobs...

I think DC would make a fine fine home for them..

under "martial law" only?

Fact is they ARE coming to the US.. Depending on how their status is determined, they could very well be released into the general public within 90 days of arrival..

They even have a place for them (GSXtacy probably already knows about this) being purchased with your tax $$

If they are charged with "crimes" , most will be released under the laws of due process... (A feather in the "lefts" cap)

Although this is not being advertised very hard.. The press has too much at stake with the current administration..

Illinois however will be the most directly impacted initially (how appropriate)

This is going to get exciting when the "masses" find out what is going on...

Here is a transcript that everyone really needs to read... (and that means "between" the lines.. some pretty weird stuff going on and a lot of back peddling and door opening to what may/is going to happen)

http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2009/12/obama_purchase_of_illinois_pri.html

The upside? they will be getting better medical care than the average US taxpayer under "healthcare" reform..

so....

all these huys have been held for years, not mirandized, and are now going to be tried as civilians....

so... when they are released, they will have case for illegal imprisonment, and other civil rights violations that they will now have because they will be on US soil.....

wait until they get million $$$ awards for civil rights violations....

but atleast the Anit- Bush people will get to point thier fingers and blame GW...again.

Very interesting topic given recent events. From what I've read the Christmas bombing was planned by two detainees that were released and rehabilitated. At least I don't live near any soft or hard targets ................

My problem with the Thomson CC being used as a fed joint is two fold. No I dont want the terrorist on our soil for all of the above reasons. But the main reason is this. Some of you know I was promoted to Lieutenant in the Illinois Department of Corrections at the Thomson prison. I was one of the command staff that was to get the place ready to bring in maximun security STATE inmates late last year. It never happened. The state built this place in 2001 because we needed another max facility bad. We need it even worse now. Illinois will be in the news alot before too long because of prison violence if any of the stuff that is happening gets out to the public. Heres an example of some of the stuff that has happened in the past couple of months. A warden was beat bad enough that he had to have his eye socket behind his eyes meshed together. A plan to kill a female officer THAT NIGHT was found, only because an inmate told them about it (not that we had staff to actually search for stuff) along with a nice stash of weapons. An inmate died of a heroin overdose and numerous had positive drug tests. A librarian was held hostage for seven hours before our tactical unit made entry, he tried to stab her. He wont see court, he didnt make it. We also had another hostage situation in 2006 were the female was raped numerous times over 27 hours. There have been so many fights and staff assaults its impossible to keep count. Oh by the way, these incidents happened in medium and minimun security facilities, not max joints. We dont have any more max bed space (other that the 3200 empty ones sitting in Thomson). Every day max inmates are "reclassified" to medium and minimum status and moved to places they shouldnt be. I want Thomson open, but as a state facility, not a federal one.
