If Hunter Biden is guilty of something, he has to stand on his own for this, in the end we as individuals are responsible for our actions.

However, in your eyes, both the legal system and government are completely inept and corrupt so I often wonder why you remain in a country where this is so?

The label for Washington DC being called a Swamp was created by those that know the territory. The leadership inside the DOJ and FBI have a lot of unanswered questions to answer. However, since they hold un elected positions of power and have attorneys that can keep them from going to jail the Swamp continues it's illicit ways. This isn't the only place this is going on... its all over the world within the walls of many governments. A particular funny phrase was born in the 70s... Stop the World because I want to get off.

When I look around the world for a place to retire the best place to be for me is right here. Costa Rica? No... 6 months of rain and mosquito infested... Spain or Italy? Maybe... we have friends that are considering it, they will update us as time goes on if its really as good as it looks from over here.

As far as the legal system goes... people doing illegal activities while in positions of power won't police themselves, so, that point is mute. I can't control the actions of other people doing things they know are illegal, but, you already knew that. Besides that, I wouldn't invest any more energy in that other than to call it out... and calling it out is the first step to fixing it. This is why JFK spoke of being notified by the populace through the media whenever the federal government was doing something wrong that was consider very important. if nobody ever calls it out then nothing will ever even have a chance of being remedied or fixed.

I am far from being alone in believing what I believe about the levels of mistrust.... From toilet seats that cost $286 ta piece that the gov spends to 2.3 trilliion dollars unaccounted for in the DOD budget back in 2001... These days the highest per capita income counties in this country surround the Washington DC area... why do you think that is?
