Would you recommend purchasing a Gen 3 with the issues it has?

Highly recommended - had mine for one year with none of the issues described on this thread. Quickshifter is a joy to use actually

I’ve had a QS on my last two bikes. It definitely makes riding a lot more enjoyable.
I’ve spent enough years clutching every shift.
