I just installed a TRE and now my Fuel injection light is on and it's telling me to check the FI. Is this supposed to happen??? I don't think that it is but any ideas would be helpfull

Thanks for the one guy (Dezzy7) that actually posted a helpfull response to this question and you where right. I am a dumb ass and didn't find it. Took me an hour to find the little bugger tucked under some other wires toward the back of the area. I just made the same mistake and plugged it into the Black Connector found the whit one and everything worked...WOW The TRE even improved my Brake usageThanks for the one guy (Dezzy7) that actually posted a helpfull response to this question and you where right. To Johnnycheese.....I did contact the guys that sold the TRE through email. I also contacted the board since I didn't know where I would get a faster response from. Most of the time at night.....(when most places are closed).....the answers here will be dead on and very fast as you may have already found out. Sorry I didn't tell you this so you wouldn't have wasted your time "wondering why".

because you are trying to use a bandaid instead of fixing the problemI HAVE installed the 6.8k resistor on my 2003 Hayabusa. I do feel a little more horse power at the low end in the first 3 gears, but I still feel that jerky sputter at 5000 RPM's like I felt before I did the TRE mod. Can anybody explain why? Did I hook up the resistor wrong? Is it possible to hook it up wrong?
