So is the tensioner a problem on the 00's or just the 99's? If so, why didn't they catch the problem before they started shipping 00's out to the shops? What are the signs that a failure might occur or is it "everything is fine" and BAM! your screwed. I was told this is a problem on all of the 99 and up Suzuki GSXR's and the 1300 by the salesperson, is this true? My little brother just bought a 600 and he's getting close to 1K miles on the ODO. Would be nice to warn him in time.
