sputtering, backfiring woes

my 05 recently started backfiring and sputtering occaisonally when cold.
its only happened 3x in the last 2 weeks though.
its got 37k miles, its quite overdue for a valve adj, and has stock plugs.
it clears up rather quickly.
bad gas? plugs? valve adj?

You have bolt-ons or a full exhaust? If so, have you done the marble/pair valve mod?

Change those plugs ASAP! Then you can remeber how much power she had when new. Then while your in there do the marble mod.
