Im live in daytona too and i've never had a problem at all and i've been doin a ton of beachside riding during spring and summer of this and last year and i've never had a prob granted mines a 07That does suck!
You would think that the Busa being the "Flag Ship" that they would put a little better materials into the exhaust.
I live near Daytona Beach ..... Cant wait

Damn, I was thinking about buying an 08 Busa but with all the complaints I been hearing like the rusted exaust and the shifting problems from 1st into neutrel and soo forth, Im starting to have second thoughts.
Maby I should get a Kawasaki ZK-14 instead.

Full, I see a good amount of snow in your pics, do they use salt on the roads there? Just wondering how much road slime is getting on the bike while riding it?
I ask because the oil pan is also "highly" oxidized and I am thinking it looks like it took a brine bath..

If you wash the bottom sometimes it might help.
The salt can make a mess in a hurry.
Quit riding through the ocean, get a wave runner for that...

O8 owner here. Promise.
I live a hundred feet from the ocean and have had my 08 outside since September and I have 0 rust on my exhaust. Road salt will kill any metal very quickly. Rinsing the bike off after riding winter roads would helpp deter the rust.

Shyeah, well.... before you decide on that course of action, perhaps you would be interested in seeing some photos that helped me choose the K8 over the ZX-13.5.......
How would you like your ZX-14 frame to crack and come apart at speed?
