It's because of the hurricane. I believe 8 of the oil platforms in the gulf have closed because of Ike. It's basically hysteria. Unless there is damage worse than Katrina, it won't impact the actual production of gas. But, this is a reason for the gas comanies to stick the consumers again.

That's what I'm thinking...I'd like to see 20 or so well armed men at each of the major oil company's board of directors meetings and...relieve them of their positions.

That statement should let the next set of directors know that the American public is tired of being raped over gas prices and wont stand for it anymore.

Maybe then this BS will stop.

Greed of this magnitude should not go...unrewarded.
