NEVER EVER EVER EVER sugarcoat proven risks with products. I'd rather someone overreact and stay alive than underestimate and die young.
long ago there were photos of a broken hahn header at SH.org. More than one guy has complained of needing to repair or replace the stock hahn header.have you heard of that happening ? this tuner by me has done lots of hahn kits on busa's . everyone swears by this guys work
i emailed my tuner about this .
he is running a hahn on a 400+ rwhp (well over)
he told me this
I have had a Hahn turbo on my bike for two years so
far, and have built MANY for customers.I have not yet seen a header "snap off".
There is, however, modifications that I have made to
off the shelf kits to make them even better. One of
them involves a bracket that goes from the front of
the motor to the top of the header pipe - I did this
one on my own bike, since the larger turbo I am using
is heavier than normal. This can be made for yours if
you wish, but we are talking about a $200 custom-made
powder coated piece here. Very nice, overkill, and
would definately prevent any header problems that MAY
occur years down the road. If you want one, let me
know -

That's just another issue as with any build...As long as your comfortable with it that's all that matters...it's going to be a custom billet piece so i think $200 is fair .
it will be the ride of your life!!!!i just cant wait to feel the pull of 240+ rwhp
Like I said, I'd like to hear his reply.of course his kit isnt a stage one kit .
this guy knows his #### , i have spoke to a dozen people who have had work done from this guy and have heard very good things .
he has been riding and building turbo bikes for like 20 years .
he has done dozens of busa's , and around my neck of the woods he is the guy to see to mod your busa .
im glad you gave me the feedback on the header though , you can never be too safe .
i am going to have a bracket made that helps support the turbo , a cheap upgrade that may be overkill but it will give me peice of mind
.
