This is the new generation shift/launch light from Raptor Performance. This new light has a digital display, and can be programmed up to 20K rpm. Two-button programming makes it easy to adjust. There is an auxiliary output for controlling external devices at the shift point - like your air shifter!

When you set your launch rpm, you also set upper and lower launch limits. For instance, if you wanted to launch at 6,000 rpm, you could program the light at 6K plus or minus 200 rpm - for example - and as soon as your rpm got to 5800, the light would come on solid and stay on until 6200 - if it went past that, the light would start blinking rapidly. This saves you from looking at a tach needle. If you went below 5800, the light would turn off. As long as you stay inside the "window" you program, the light stays on solid.

Once you get moving, the light automatically reverts to shift mode, and only comes on at the shift point you set. Using the auxiliary output wire (which completes a ground at the shift point) you could trigger your air shifter solenoid.

This is a true stand alone light - no other components are needed. It is a simple five wire setup, and the light comes in four LED colors: yellow, red, green or blue. And this light is compact: 3.625" long, and only .750" in diameter. POWERHOUSE price: $150

Launch lights are nice. I have been using the one made by "boost by smith" for a couple years. Shift lights also have the benefit of waking you up and reminding you to shift before the cutout. Raptor has been around for some time making good products.
