i dont recall the manual calling for loctite on that nut... but rather on the speed sensor rotor bolt instead.? i took mine off with an impact gun and torqued it down to 105 ft lbs, and the rotor bolt got 13 ft lbs and some blue loctite

If memory serves me correctly the nut does not but the bolt does.

yeah it did take all day....take a fairing off, have a beer, watch the tube, take the coolant resevoir off, have a beer, watch the tube, take the sprocket cover off, have a beer, watch the tube, ect...ect...ect
