Cool! what memories. I was the neighborhood wheelie king(Millard,Nebraska) on my 1976 Kawasaki KD-100, I was in 6th grade (my first bike).

My second bike was a KD-80.

My first bike was shared with my brother.  I cant remember the name but it had a picture of a globe on the tank and the mini-bike was green.

My buddy had a KD-80(1975ish) with a dark green tank, I was sold on getting that until I went to the dealer(Omaha Kawasaki, Dodge Street) and saw the KD-100 and proceeded to beg my parents for the next month.

My Grandmother and Grandfather(Mom's side). I believe the pic was taken in the late 20's,(but bike may be earlier model). I think it's a Harley. A buddy of mine thought the headlight might be a old carbide lamp type. Mom said Grandpa later broke his leg on that bike.

Judging from the oil stain on his shirt, it's a Harley.

It does look like a huge oil stain, but is actually a basket(with white fringe) with flowers in it. The flowers look like a stained shirt in the smaller pic here. Dont know what the deal was with the flowers, maybe Grandma made him put them in there

Aside from the minibike, my first motorcycle was a Hodaka Ace 100, which I modified to look like this one (not mine, but a pretty close picture from the 'Net, minus the plates on the back).

I'll get pictures of my fist bikes posted but that Hodaka 100 brings back a lot of fun memories. In the mid to late 80's I was knee deep into desert racing w/5 close friends. All of us bought Hodaka 100's and we used to race them around our camp sites. The only time I was ever injured during a 10 year stint of racing desert and motocross happened when we were screwing around on those stupid Hodaka's while giving our "real" dirtbikes a break. lol's

I also had a Hodaka Combat wombat in the mid 70's

My favorite? other than the late models , my BSA 650 was always a riot to ride and you never knew if you were going to walk or ride home Amal carbs sucked...
