Honestly a lot of the riders in my area are putting the apple air tags on their bike or Samsung equivalent. I think you can set them up to notify you if the object moves which would be useful. I know there are apps that can detect them but I also look at that as a possible deterrent but when it comes down to it off someone wants it they're gonna take it regardless of what you have.

The air tag’s downside is: if the thief has an I phone he is going to be noticed that he has been tracked.
But till then - there is some time to react.
