Mod for the empty exhaust hanger hole

I saw the cool looking caps on Ebay:

But I am not paying upwards of $30 for one.

So I pulled out the bolt on a skull license plate mount and re-tapped the skull to fit the existing hanger bolt, added a few washer to the back, used some loc-tite on everything.
The Skull is just plastic so re-tapping is easy...I actually thought it was metal up until yesterday.

That's pretty cool looking! Would not have thought about anything like that. Course I also don't have the skills to be able to do anything like that. Sweet!

...oh and the skullz look cool too.. but I just installed a pair of em on my lisence plate!! So dont want to have them again at another place on the bike

That cap is also available on schnitz's website. Definitely looks pretty good.
