No not for the K8, pair is on top of the head now between the airbox

I believe that you still to the mod on the 08, it's just not the same as the Gen-I. Gen-I you actually pull off the pump and install block off plates, etc.. The Gen-II you just plug the box and re-route a tube or something.

I'll have to look it up but I'm pretty sure you still do it on the 08...
