In 52 secs why barack obama won't win the general election

I am definitely NOT raciest, i just don't think america is ready for a black president yet.

Are YOU ready? When do you think "America" would be ready for a Black President?

I don't think it’s right to assume what America is ready or not ready for. The decision to choose a president should come down to policies and qualifications among other things not how he or she looks like or what their name is.

For all McCain followers, Would you vote for McCain if he was Black?

I'm not black for those who are wondering.

No, America is not ready for a Black President, and honestly, I would say it will be another 200 years before the issue of race will really not matter. It's just a very sad fact about our country.

There, fixed that for you...sad 'opinion' is more accurate. Don't include me in 'your' America. BTW, are you part of that America that won't be ready for a black president for another 200 years? This is America babe, THE America, and we will not wait another 200 years to become what our founding fathers envisioned.

I'm not trying to be confrontational but my question was if YOU, not America, are ready for a black President.

I have no problem with a black president. Google it. There are more white people that think america is ready for a black president than blacks.

Truth be told there are no more pure races, you would be surprised if you knew your blood line.

What does my blood line have to do with my beliefs? Why is it that nobody cared until the polls turned, McCain pulled ahead and now everyone is crying foul because of race? It is what it is, whites have lost elections for years and it has never been because of race, It's called politics.

From what I have seen, America IS ready for a black president, if they were not Obama would not have won the nomination. The real statement that can be made is that America is not ready for a president as liberal as Obama. He is known as one of the most liberal senators in the senate right now. Even the republicans know if you want to win you need to find someone close to the middle of the road.

So if McCain/Palin were to lose does it make the whole country sexist?

You know what, race will cease to matter when you and each of us decides it doesn't matter. It is just easy for the ignorant to use race and blame others in justifing why their own pathetic lives are the way they are.

It goes both ways.

We may be black or we may be white but one thing in common our busa's race out-of-sight.

well said, there will be many more disagreements before this all ends. When it is over I will not hold a difference in opinion against anyone. We all believe what we believe and this site is about the bikes and being civil to each other. Respect the opinions of others, debate if you like, but keep the ugly out of it.

I have said it before and i will say it again.

If Colin Powell ran for president, I would crawl through broken glass to vote for him. I have a great deal of respect for that man!! and oh yeah, he is black I think not that it would matter.

If Condoleezza Rice ran for President, I would crawl through broken glass to vote for her. and oh yeah, she is a black female, but it wouldn’t matter to me.

I will not vote for Obama because he has little experience and hearing and seeing his most recent comments on what he plans to do in regards to our military and weapons and pulling people out of Iraq immediately, it shows he is a extremely ignorant in regards to the reality of the world. and that scares the he11 out of me to think he could possible be president.

I will vote for McCain because.. well that’s what is left. I would he would bring change to the government, I hope Palin would offer some good check and balances.

But in the end as I see it, if McCain gets in office the worse that will happen is there wont be any change and I am ok at the moment

If Obama gets in office, I think he is going to try and change things (which is needed) but I honestly think the changes he is speaking of are the wrong changes and it will put this country on its knees in front of our enemies, who by the way have no mercy and only look for weakness to exploit

Man your going way off in left field, I wasn't saying your blood line has anything to do with the way you vote, I was merely saying everybody hung up on this black/white thing. If you trace back you'll probably find were all multi-cultured. I could care less what a persons color is, I'm voting for the person I believe will have the Countries best interest at heart. Hopefully you're doing the same. Can't we all just get along.

I will just say from an outsider's perspective, George Bush and the Republican Party have done MAJOR damage to America's world image.

I hope for America's sake Obama wins and repairs the damage.

From my point of view the rhetoric of the extreme Right in America sounds very much like the extremist Muslim world view, fear feeding off fear.

I dont care about our world image!
I care about my country and will never, never vote for a socialist like Obama!

Another maroon...what a surprise, a republicant from lower alabama:rofl:

A personal attack, complete with name calling!

But I always enjoy a good psych eval from the initiated few... thanks!

Uh oh, a Cheney comment...! A name from a cartoon is a verbal attack? Cartoon names are not allowed? How about moronic statements, should they be allowed? I'm sorry if you were offended. Please don't throw me in the briar patch:please:
