She's done!
We got her all put together last Sunday but didn't have a ramp to load the Busa, Thanks Dan for the input on not using a board, definitely the right call. Anyway, I ordered a ramp earlier in the week and it arrived today wo I tried to load up the Busa, bit hit a snag. I was planning on using the STS bike stand in the rear and then a couple tie downs up front for added security, but that wasn't gonna work. We had measured the trailer to work with the stand but we were wrong about the bikes center of gravity. When it was all loaded up and in the stand, the was no tongue weight, in fact, it was a case of water and bricks weight biased to the rear. We couldn't move the stand forward as you must back the bike into the stand and the trailer isn't long enough for that. So, plan B. I went to HF and got their low end chock, I know, I know, it was wrong to cheap out and Bots told me as much. So, on his word of having broke a the lower end chock i went back to HF and got the larger one, great call on Bots' part, its much heavier duty and I trust it a lot more. A baxley would be nice, but I'm leaving for the Bash on Monday, so it wasn't gonna happen.
We got the HF chock all mounted up after some modifications and it works like a gem! We had my buddies zx10 at the shop with us so it went for the first ride. Coincidently, it was the guy who was my main builder and engineer, so rightfully so it was his bike
All is well and I'm painting the modded chock now so ill be all set for the Bash! Pics cause it happened.
Thanks to all the guys on here that had suggestions and feedback to help me along and my buddies Dusty and Alex for the help.
Ps-Hey Tiller, check all the matching!
This is the guy that helped build a lot of it, scary huh?
