Ok so I have a question. I’m looking to swap a gen 2 engine into a gen 1 frame. I’ve read I could shim the engine, or have a sprocket milled. My questions is, is there a source for these sprockets already made for this conversion? Thankyou In advance. I’ve only found old threads without this info and after all it is 2021 now so maybe we have something! Thanks again.

So what is the problem with the sprocket?
Is it no longer in line with the rear sprocket?

Apparently the output shaft is longer on the gen 2 so the engine would have to be shimmed .190 inches or else the chain rubs? That’s what I’ve gathered. And thought maybe someone would have made custom sprockets for this conversion.

ok, never knew that, moving the engine over to the right by shimming 5mm seems to be the simplest solution
