Exhaust problem

I have an '07 Busa with Acrapovic carbon fiber slip ons. My brother just got an '07 also and it has the same exhaust , but his is louder. I mean alot louder. The only difference is that he has a BMC filter, marble mod, and a reprogrammer on his bike. My exhaust is he same as his though. Does the filter, marble mod, or tune make the exhaust louder? Please help!!!

Yea bro the can has fiberglass cloth in it that blows out over time. Yours will eventually blow out and become loud. Then its time to repack the cans cause the louder it is, the less the can has packing and, the more power is lost from the added exhaust pressure loss.

His pipes are the same brand, model, and age. The only thing is that his pipes only have 1,000 miles on them and my pipes have 1,500 miles on them.

000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, miles on them. Its all in how hard you ride. he spends more time pushing his bike hard than you do. If you drive at 45mph everywhere your pipes will stay quiet forever. Im not saying push your bike MY ANY MEANS. Im just saying hes harder on his engine/exhaust than you are. Its not a good thing that his is louder you know. Its a bad thing.
