Ear buds/plugs?

get the ER6i and you will not have a problem. They block out noise. I also had the ear ringing problem after long days of wind and engine noise. I ride for a living. Don't buy cheap...it won't work to the level you want. It will just get you by.

+1 on the ER6I's. I have a set of Sony's and just bought a set of the Skull Candy's, but they don't block the wind noise like the Etymotic's.

For the money though,once you get the right size insert fitted on the Skull Candy's, they aren't bad. I will probably carry them along on long rides just in case the ER6's get a short in the cords.

I had the Sony ones and it was ok. Kept having the ear piece fall out when I took out the helmet. But now I bought SkullCandy and love them, they are $31 at best buy i got the white ones. Great for the money.
