The reason I asked is that I've seen some with 1340 written on the tail, some with 1300.

I believe they come.out or the factory with 1300 deals and some folks replace.em with the correct size spec

They round up or down, depending on cc volume. GenII is 1340cc, hence classified from factory as 1300. Kawasaki ZX1400 is 1352cc, classified as a 1400. Suzuki should have made the GenII 1353cc!

Insurance will look at it as a 1340.. killing me!! I mean.. really. Progressive, but i hear State Farm is really good.
