Case saver???

Good morning all,
Any experience with these particular type of case savers or opinions would be greatly appreciated. The price is quite reasonable but maybe because they are crap and would do more harm than good in a get-off. Me thinks the Woodcraft case w/ built in slider plate is a much better option.

The only thing that would concern me is if it went down and broke the bolt mounts instead of just the cover. With the slider on the cover the mounts are safer...

It sticks out WAY TOO FAR. I had a R&G racing case slider on my bike, and it would touch on a trackday. Could easily catch and cause a lowside. If you don't do trackday's or agressive riding, then you'd be ok, but if you ever intend to track or ride twisties I'd recommend against. I put a woodcraft stator cover with exchangeable slider on mine.

No offense, I mean 35 bucks is cheap indeed, but that thing is just plain butt ugly. And look closely at the screws, looks like they would snap right off.

Reason why we love Woodcraft Engine Covers so much.

Yes, quite a difference in price from 35 bucks, but once you ride off into the middle of nowhere, low side and grind right through the metal (DAMHIK) of the stock cover, your ride is done.
