Carbon-fairing inners

the weight of the stock parts wasn`t any reason for me to change it, the optical was the reason for me to pay so many. I would do it any time again if I had the choose between stock black plastic or carbon

Fair enough mzrsq, I think part of it might have to do with having an all black Busa, more black just doesn't bother me. If I could find CF inners in the $200-$300 range I would prolly pounce though...

Im not saying it's a bad idea, just that after a lot of consideration, right now, I can think of some other things I would rather do, and your right, to each his own, otherwise I would be on a constant rant about all the chrom on sport bikes out there....

My only real vice about the carbon inner is that if you damage a piece...can you just buy that particular piece at an itemized price and not have to replace the whole damn set?

Thats a good question Ba, will have to check into that. Yeah it would suck to crack up one piece and have to lay out another 400 bones for replacements
