He lucked out big time!!!  He just sold his carbon fiber bolts on, threw on these stock ones, and has his new tri-oval full system dual tip on order.  Great timing, he only ruined the crap exhaust!!

Plus rear cowl scratched.

Obivously the right engine cowl, but also the right peg is bent forward.

You can just barely make it out, it ground a hole in the cover and was leaking oil when it was on its side. But he was able to ride it home(2hrs) without losing any more oil. Lucky, lucky....

You can see the nose fairing is broken right behind the mirror, broken brake handle, scratched mirror, scratched bar end, and scratched fender.

We figure his rear slid out in the shady spot, due to where his scrape marks begin. You can see the road surface is just a little uneven, cold road, almost worn rear tire, and probably a little too much throttle.

That's too bad, but does look mostly cosmetic. Any ideas what put the big hole over the engine mount hole?

And one wound pic, its so minor I didn't think it qualifies as gore.  I posted it to show how lucky he is, just a scratch!!!

By the way Nelson, that's one good look'in leg

first few pics didnt load .... so how does the exhaust can look on that side?

I hate to see pics like that, but like a train wreck I have to look. I just hate to see the world's most beautiful bike with scratches all over it. I'm glad I've got frame sliders... I just hope I'll never have to use them. I'm glad it was only wounded pride and not a lot worse.

I do have one fine sexy leg dont I

, or had one that is. I think sliders would have helped, it's worth the extra 100-150 bucks. I really got lucky the bike did not hit any vehicles coming downhill, cause just after I ran over to go pick the Busa up a vehicle comes coasting down that hill. All cosmetic damage, no major harm to the frame or motor or rims. Thank The Lord who's looking out for me. By the way, nice pics Charles
