So after 8 years i have bought myself another Busa after selling my K2 in 2012. Bought the new to me Busa in October 2020.
I have done some work on it and some small mods over the past year and a bit of owning it. I also repainted it myself and have a full set of matching luggage for the weekends away.
It's a 2009 K9 and it has done 20k miles. I am the 3rd owner. The first owner kept it 5 years and the second owner for 6 years. So it's not been a tart like my wife :eek:

Edit......Wife has just read this, and now my head hurts and wallet is empty :banghead:

09 Silver/dark silver, brings back memories! Just like mine and certainly the fastest color. Too bad you ruined it now with the paint, it will be much slower, haha! Also, pissed off the wife in the first post? I have a feeling you are going to be quite the poster here bro - welcome.

Seriously I like the new colors. Really nice job on the paint. Did you do the wheels and footpegs too? Here is the evolution of my silver 09:

I also have 2 seat humps, one has cut-outs for the passinger grab rail.

I don't think i will do any engine mods to make it go faster as i only use it on the road and it's quick enough for me.

Edit... We did not get the 2020 thunder grey in the uk. I liked the 2020 colour and the 2019 red wheels, so i mixed them together. I also found a vinyl for some of the decals that did not stand out. in some lights you can only see the Kanji.
