2004 Fuel Tank Hoses

Anyone know where there two small hoses go for the underside of the fuel tank? I know one goes to a cannister (can I remove this)?

I bought a used 2003 tank and the hose connections are different. So tying to understand what they are for and where they are supposed to go.

Im not certain, but they should just be small breather tubes. so that the tank does not build up pressure.
